WORKSHOPS (Next sessions from 9/3 to 24/3. 2014)*
These intense and compact workshops is long weekend 24h courses that give the opportunity to people from all over the world that visit or live in Paris to attend them conveniently. They start on Friday at 14:00 and they end on Sunday 17:00. They occur in three different successive weekends on March, starting with photography, following with videography and ending with editing.
PHOTOGRAPHY
If you want to move further from the basic principles of good photography and to explore a level of knowledge that leads you to the world of professional photography, this workshop is ideal for you. Our experienced in teaching photographers, will teach you more than you would expect in three days. They will teach you how to "read" the light. They will demonstrate photos and they will explain, how it was shot, what it serves as a picture and why it is considered as a piece of art. They will make you see first the image in your mind, and then they will help you to get the same result on the paper. The will give you practical and useful information for the equipment you use. The will give you tips for different kinds and styles of photography. From portraits, to landscapes, from action shootings to wildlife photography, from studio lighting to event photography e.t.c They will also introduce you to photoshop and the magic world of retouching and rework on an image. This workshop seems to be more useful and helpful to enthusiasts, semi-pro photographers and to students of photography than to beginners although everybody is welcomed.

VIDEOGRAPHY
This workshop-tutorial is a compact 24h course for video shooters that shoot either with DSLR cameras or with other HD digital medium such as camcorders with fixed zoom lenses or interchangeable. Our experienced tutors and awarded professional cinema directors of photography will introduce you to the world of video shooting. They will teach you how to exploit all the abilities of your camera & lenses, framing & composition, how to manipulate the light (with or without extra lighting sources), they will give you tips among others for filming in motion, coloring, filtering, grading, focus pulling, low light filming, fast motion, slow motion, and they will explain clearly all the issues concerning usual troubleshooting with DSLR. Sound issues will also be covered. The first day is a full tutorial with cameras switched on, while the second and the third day there will be exercises, practicing and demonstrations. It is ideal for all the pro photographers that want to jump efficiently into the world of videography, for indie low & medium budget directors, for video artists, for film students and for all those that love to make beautiful videos.

EDITING
This is an intense 24h (3 x 8 hours) workshop - tutorial for editors that have a first level of experience and want to improve their skills and learn extensively the Final Cut Pro Software. Our experienced editors will introduce to all of the Final Cut Pro features and will teach you all the important things you need to know for a good video editing. Participants will edit on a real fiction or documentary footage and they will practice their skills by putting their own fingers in the keyboard. The first day will take place the tutorial and the complete presentation of the editing software. The second day will be the importing and the editing of the footage and the third day will be kept for the final edit of media, the image processing and the exporting of the media. This workshop is aiming to help all the videographers that want also to learn how to edit marriage footage, interviews, short films or short documentaries. Film and photography students are also welcomed. The workshop is designed by experienced teachers, editors and film professionals.
